We are open to all kinds of proposals and ideas for exhibition design or incorporating Barley Massey’s products within gallery / museum context, trade shows, events or mobile units.

Over the last few years with environmental concerns coming to the fore, Barley Massey has been commissioned to produce items for a number of examples of ‘Eco Homes’ including at the Earth Centre, Doncaster and the Ideal Homes Show, Earls Court and also for recycling awareness campaigns including working with London Remade and ‘Rethink Rubbish’ / ‘Recycle Now’.

Here is an example of an ongoing project that Barley Massey is involved with:

Emotional Baggage Handling – available for hire at your event

Gambling your life away? Have you lost your sense of humour? A card short in your pack? Missing your king, queen or jack the lad? Barley Massey and Bel Tidswell (who has a background in advocacy and counselling) have devised an interactive installation that will help you feel a little lighter and reflect upon your life in a quirky and thought provoking manner. Also specialising in stress busting, realizing your realisations, confidence tricks, behavioural pattern cutting skills and reawakening your unconscious mind, body and lost soul. Established in 2003, this unit has serviced many users at Glastonbury Festival by holding, storing and destroying emotional baggage (after 28 days), serving Tea + Sympathy in an entertaining fashion and providing a meeting, talking point and traveller’s rest. Barley and Bel can gear their services to your event - recently they were selected to produce an installation at the Hidden Art’s annual forum, during which they encouraged designers to set 3 ‘Smart’ objectives for their business’, which were then laminated into a ‘key ring to success’.
